John Perrello and his Lethal Injection Corvette made it two years in a row for a Memorial Day win at Beaver Springs Dragway. The qualifying as always was very close. Taking the Perma-Cool #1 spot was Joe Veschusio in the Thriller Fiat with a dead on 7.80. Following close behind was Madman Mike Himes in the Danger Zone Camaro at a 7.81, Micky Hale in the Warlock Coupe also at 7.81, Jerry Streb in the Bad Camaro 7.82 and Perrello rounding out the top five at 7.85.

First round eliminations had Perrello running right on with a 7.80 taking out the DeCorts Prowler. Marty Beno went red and threw away a 7.83 to Jerry Strebs 7.72. Scott Hohensee got a win in the Visionary Fiat when he went right on at 7.80 to a too fast Micky Hale at 7.77. Bob Lascak in the Wicked Vette took out Mike Himes with a 7.81 to Himes uncharacteristic 7.99. Joe Veschusio in a single ran 7.84 to finish out the round and he also won the Mickey Thompson Burnout Challenge and the Enderle reaction time with a great .006 light.

The Buffalo boys would be in the final and John Perrello would take a reaction time win over Scott Hohensee with John running a 7.85 to Scott's 7.81. Thanks to Beaver Bob and Staff at Beaver Springs Dragway for a excellent track to run on for a weekend that was on and off with rain. The Warriors would also like to thank sponsors Enderle, Perma Cool, Mickey Thompson Tires, AGS, Strange Engineering, and Hot Rod Newz TV for their support.
