7th Annual Southern Big Buck Nationals set to Kick Off 2020 Race Season at No Problem Raceway
Belle Rose, LA
As the off-season comes to an end, a brand new season is set to kick off with the Southern Big Buck Nationals at No Problem Raceway on February 7th - 9th. Race promoters Cody Pollage and Johnny Ezell are excited to bring back this season opener for the seventh year and give racers an opportunity to get back on the track and race for big money.
The gates at No Problem Raceway will be open and ready for racers to begin parking at 1 pm. Before racing action begins racers can enjoy themselves and have a good time at the Southern Big Buck Practice Tree Race Thursday night that begins with time trials at 7 pm.
Gates will officially open at 9 am Friday morning with two time runs set to begin at 1:00 pm and eliminations to follow. Racers in the Box class that choose to enter for the weekend will be able to run for $5,000 Friday and $10,000 on Saturday and Sunday for only $375. In the No Box class, racers will have the opportunity to run for $2,500 Friday and $5,000 on Saturday and Sunday for an entry fee of $250.
Once the main event concludes on Saturday, racers will have the opportunity to enter the High Roller Shootouts for the Box and No Box class. Box racers will compete for $50,000 and No Box racers will compete for $5,000. Racers can still put their name on the list for both shootouts by contacting Cody Pollage at 225-776-6818 or through the Flicker Pro Motions or CP Racing Promotions facebook page.
Another bonus for racers who attend the Southern Big Buck Nationals is the great food that is provided by J’s Joint out of Plaquemine, LA. There will be a “Racer’s Appreciation Dinner” both Friday and Saturday night for the racers that attend.
