Lucas Oil Steps Up With Chase-N-Dad Racing in 2020
The 2020 race season will mark year 3 for the partnership between Lucas Oil and Chase-N-Dad Racing. Chase-N-Dad Racing will again be the exclusive dealer for Lucas Oil Racing Products at all NHRA Division 4 events, select Division 5 events, and many big money bracket races in the Texas area.
Lucas Oil has stepped up as a major partner on all Chase-N-Dad Racing race vehicles in 2020. “This partnership with Lucas Oil started as a kid with a dream and idea, it has only grown from there. Thanks to the whole Lucas Oil family for believing in and supporting our team like they have the last 3 years. We look to make 2020 a year to remember,” stated Chase Huffman.
With a wide variety of products available for Purchase to qualify racers for the NHRA Lucas Oil contingency program, the Chase-N-Dad team will do its best to have all items on hand at all races. The program is simple and easy, purchase $100 worth of qualifying Racing Oil and $75 worth of Transmission or Differential fluid to be eligible for the program. You are good for 12 months after purchase. Lucas recently debuted a new engine oil and transmission fluid at PRI this year. The engine oil is their new low viscosity FL-O Racing Oil. FL-0 Low Viscosity Racing Oil developed from what we had delivered to ECR Engines as a qualifying Oil. We made a lighter version for the drag racing world. This product is approximately 10.8 cSt @ 40C, used in Pro-Stock Cars, Stock ,Super Stock and other bracket classes running tighter tolerance clearances, high revving naturally aspirated engines. Ideal in lower operating conditions as these oils are light and with the type of base oil, not recommended with higher Oil temps. This has been in development for several years, primarily with Kurt and Warren Johnson in both 500 Cubic inch Pro-stock and Comp Engines.
Along with the new FL-0 Racing Oil, is the new Formula Semi-Synthetic Type F Automatic Transmission Fluid. Some may think this is just a rebrand of the ever popular Marine ATF fluid but it is not. This is a new formulation that Lucas developed for high performance as well as racing. Lucas is a little unique having a Semi-synthetic as well. This will reduce temps over the many conventional products currently being used by racers.
