Thomas Holley Doubles at Southern Big Bucks Nationals
Batton Rouge, LA
Thomas Holley leaving off the bottom doubled in both the bottom and top bulb class and took himself to the last man standing in both classes running for both "big checks" is what is every racers dream on Saturday Night.
The young man from Saraland, Alabama is a technician at Mountz tools during the week, and obviously a impressive talent behind the wheel on the weekends.
Holley also reached the final again on Sunday in the No Box class but was defeated by Friday's winner Nick Curl who won his 2nd No Box Main Event of the weekend!
The weekend had a history of racers reaching multiple finals as we hinted above with Nick Curl also deserving much credit when he won both Friday's No Box Main Event and Sunday's.
On Friday Night of box it was Justin Allbritton squaring up against the 4.7x door car of Travis Barnet for the $10,000 top prize to get the weekend started where Allbritton came out on top.
Will Holloman got things going on Sunday where he kicked off his 2021 season with his first big check of the year defeating John Angelle in the final final round of the weekend.
Weekend Shootout Results also saw Lucas Walker over David Dell in No Box and Steven Barnett over Travis Barnett in Box.
CP Promotions returns in 2 weeks with their Texas Two Step $20,000 race at the Texas Motorplex.
