SFG 1.1 Million - Complete Recap

SFG returned the Martin, Michigan over the July 4th weekend for their annual SFG Million. Travis Laster Sr took home the coveted Million Win over Duson Wurtz. Donny Burleson, Wes May, Kevin Pollard and Shane Carr also took home Big Checks from the weekend.
Texas hitter Donny Burleson defeats Skinny Kenny Underwood to win the $20k Warmup at the FTI Performance SFG Promotions, Inc. 1.1 Million Dollar Race.
The Wednesday S&W Race Cars $50k race was won by Wes May from Indiana who defeated Timothy Thomas from North Carolina.
Thursdays JEGS Performance $50k was won by Kevin Pollard from Virginia who defeated Donavan Williams from Florida.
Dereck Denney defeated Lauren Freer in the 1st ever SFG super Comp final.
Travis Laster Sr. makes history by being the 1st African American to win a Million Dollar Drag Race. Travis put on an awesome display of driving the entire week. Travis defeated Duston Wurtz from Nampa, Idaho in the final.
Travis also had the fastest car at the event but what was more impressive than the huge win and the excellent driving was the winners circle speech.
Shane Carr defeated Brian Folk on the final pass of the weekend earing the $50k Big Check
