(Sunday) Well the closest thing to a repeat winner in the DRR GoodYear Series happened Sunday in BTE S/Pro.  Kirby McLennan made it 27 different winners this year.  However he did win this event last year making it two years in a row.  In the final he took out another Milan DRR former winner veteran racer Mike Ledford from Greenville Michigan.  In the final Kirby had a .015 to Mikes .020 light.  Ledford took the stripe but broke out giving the win to the Ohio racer.  Joe Fitzpatrick was the lone semi finalist in his wheel standing Ford Mustang.

In JEGS sportsman Michael Hyslp drove his Chevy Caprice to a win over Bill Wilson's Camaro. In the final Hyslp had a much better light for the win.

In Jegs Trophy it was Matt Luttrel over Jim Morse Sr for the four foot monster trophy.

In Race Tech Jr Dragster it was Matthew Copeman with a better light and a win over Joel Gowen from Ann Arbor Michigan.  In the Jr Dragster consolation race Chase Baxter was the winner over Ashley Cain.

The APD Top Sportsman class was won by Howard Michaels Ford Probe when Barry Ballards 63 Corvette went red in the final.  Michael was .027 on the tree and ran 8.274 on a 8.27 for the 16 car field victory.

In Top Dragster it was a great match up between Ricky Adkins and Tony Elrod.  Elrod was .011 on the tree and went 7.570 on a 7.56 to win the event over Adkins who had a better .008 light but missed the number with a 7.08 on a 7.05.

You think NHRA Pro Stock has diversity?...How about the BTE S/Pro class at DRR Good Year events this year.  So far 26 possible race days and 26 different winners!  The Coan Milan event was no exception with not only a new winner but two of the last three cars left in S/Pro were door cars.  Whats unique about that?...It's one of a few select 1/4 mile races in the series.  Rick Cornell taking over the driving duties for Matt Cornell won one for the door car guys and gals when he took out Junior Streib from Whitehouse Ohio.  In the final the Mopar powered dragster of Streib missed the tree giving the win to Cornell who went 9.720 on a 9.71 for the win.
Phil Smida from Ohio was the Barker Trailer Sales Pace American Run For The Trailer winner.
Bill Cloke II from Manchester Michigan defeated the red lighting Brian Cireddu from Brunswick Ohio for the Jegs Title in sportsman.

In Race Tech Jr Dragster Siena Bosworth from Seminole Florida took out all the northern racers defeating Christopher Schneider.  In the final Siena used a .012 light for the win.

Corey Oberstrandt took home the Race Tech Run For The Trailer.

In JEGS Trophy Steven Wisneski drove his 98 Artic Snow Mobile to a win for the first ever snow mobile win in DRR history.
