Milan Dragway Racers

Milan, MI-Milan Dragway is very excited to announce the Washtenaw Community College High School Nationals featuring racing for college students.  For the second year in a row the High School Nationals will not only have the High School race in its usual fashion but will also include two bracket classes specifically for college students. The High School races have always been a largely participated event with racing, burn out contest and sound off contest.  The students not only compete for their own champion titles but also for a school champion title.  Points are kept for each school based on the race participants and their wins.  Dozens of schools have great representation with their students in attendance. Many schools work very hard all year in their auto shop to come race with a school car.  However, there is a huge variety of cars we see the students participate with on race day from the students cars, to Mom’s mini van, to the farm pick up truck and the auto shop class car. High School race days always prove to be exciting and fun for everyone and with the additional college bracket classes offered it should be an awesome event.  So much fun that we do it more than once per season.  This year the Washtenaw Community College High School Nationals featuring racing for college students fall event will be held on October 22nd.  If you are in High School or College or know someone who is be sure not to miss it!
