In the final results from Sonoma Raceway and the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Doug Lambeck, Northridge, CA., and Gregg Luneack, Vista, CA., took home the wins in Comp Eliminator and Super Stock respectively.

Lambeck, worked his way through the field to run 10.155 seconds at 95.85 mph in his final round victory over Scott McClay, Tehachapi, CA., ,who fouled his run.

Luneack faced off against Kory Alby, Coos Bay, OR., and posted a winning run of 10.625 seconds, 124.68 mph. Alby drove to a 11.147 second, 105.36 mph lap for his runner up finish.

Other racers visiting the winner’s circle this weekend were Colton Hiatt, Fallon, NV., in Super Comp; Tommy Gaynor, Vancouver, WA., in Stock Eliminator; Chad Langdon, La Mirada, CA., in Super Gas; and Al Alguire, Las Vegas, NV., in Super Street.  In the division’s Top Sportsman class it was Brad Wagner, Henderson, NV., taking the win while Wade Pennington, Ada, OK., won in Top Dragster. In Sportsman Motorcycle presented by Harley Davidson Denny Alves, El Cerrito, CA. took the win.

Pacific Division racers head to Rocky Mountain Raceways for the next NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event, Sept, 27-29.
