The pride of the Mopar camp, father and son, Luke and Brandon Hutchens have raced each other for well over a decade, in fact took each other out in  few races, but had never met in a final round til Saturday night. A confident Brandon and his Duster left the line first, but Luke and his mighty Plymouth Arrow used the force and nailed the start with a .0009 light, giving him the holeshot win over son Brandon.

In Modified ET it was a all bowtie event in the final round.  Reining WRP Modified ET Champion Johnny Hodges and his faithful Nova Ol' Blue faced off with the Mozilla Monza of. Tim Byrd  Hodges used his championship form and took home the winners share of the Big Buck shootout purse.
