Long time Wilkesboro Dragway racer Tim Adams has been plagued with motor problems for the past 2 seasons. This year, things have been turning the corner and Saturday his perseverance paid off!  Adams took home the Top ET win over the powerful dragster driven by Jr. Hodges." It's about time!" exclaimed Adams with a big smile  "Now all I have to do is do it again!

In Modified ET, BJ Bell and his Mustang took his first win of the season when he bested Cody Thomas.
 

In Street ET, little miss bridesmaid Katrina Shannon finally visited winners circle as a winner instead of a runner up. Shannon has been runner up for 6 races in a row.
 

This week at NC's oldest dragstrip 3 nights of action are on tap. Thursday night is the famed Test N Tune night. For only $10 you can watch or you can take your car down the strip. Gates will open at 5:30pm. Friday night is shake down night for Saturdays race. Gates will also open at 5:30pm. Saturday night is all about speed! Along with the stars and cars of the WD points series, the WSC 4.90 Outlaws will headline a night of racing action and speed!
