Holden Laris Wins at 50th NHRA Gatornationals

Winning a NHRA National Event Wally is difficult, winning the 50th NHRA Gatornationals this past weekend was extremely challenging for Holden Laris winning Super Comp. Holden snagged his 3rd NHRA National Event Wally this past weekend in Gainesville for Laris Motorsports Insurance.
“What a great weekend, to be able to pick up the 50th with my family and team,” Holden Laris, from Laris Motorsports Insurance, stated. “Winning this weekend, my dad winning the Baby Gators last weekend, this was a great trip to Gainesville,” said Laris.
Holden Laris who manages Laris Motorsports Insurance during the week managed to turn on win-lights against superstars in the Super Category of racing. Names like John Labbous and Sherman Adcock are just a few that Holden went thru on the way to his final round victory over Nichole Stephenson.
“I have 3 National Event Wally’s, SG, TD and now SC, this by far is the one that means the most, Laris smiled. “I feel like I drove really well, I executed a game plan in a tough round against Sherman (Adcock). Laris continued, “In the final, it was great to see the win-light come on, I was kinda expecting it to come on when I crossed, you never know though,” Laris laughed.
The Laris Motorsports Team will have a few days off as they prepare for a hectic schedule of National and South Central Division events in Top Dragster and Super Comp competition. Houston event on the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, as the chase for the South Central Division points chase kicks off. The final round finish along with a 4th Round exit at the week prior “Baby-Gators” has Holden Laris starting out strong with the points chase.
