Stevie Dustin Wins Triple Threat Points Championship at VMP
10/12/2022
Dinwiddie, VA
With a Win and a Runner Up over the weekend, Stevie Dustin took himself and his black S-10 all the way to the points championship of the 2022 Triple Threat Bracket Series at Virginia Motorsports Park this past Weekend.
Thursday Night kicked it off where Cory Gulitti and Andy Lloyd staged it up for the finals of the Super64 Shootout with both cars dialed 1.39, in memory of Sean Serra. Both drivers made laps, Gulitti’s win light may have shined but in our books, Sean Serra was your winner tonight.
Stevie Dustin lays claim to McCarty Auto Parts, Inc. Friday, taking home the $10K victory over Brian Anderson. Dustin laid down a .009 package (.006 RT, 5.843 on 5.84 dial) in the finals, locking out Anderson who was .029 on the let go.
Will Holloman took down Andy Lloyd in Saturday night’s final round to claim the third trophy of the weekend.
Cory Gulitti still on top of the points but Brandon Lane has jumped all the way to second in the last two days, it’s going to be interesting finish!
Will Holloman took two entries to the ladder, had to run himself and then took down the newly crowned Triple Threat Bracket Series champion, Stevie Dustin in the final round for $10,000 to close out the Triple Threat season. Holloman took a reaction time advantage all the way to a back to back win, our first double up winner in the series since it began in 2021.
