Rayan Butler, Shane Blackburn, Trey Scharf, Joe Barney and Michael Needham all made their way to the Augtoberfast Winner's Circle at Edgewater Sports Park in Ohio, where Top Bulb, Bottom Bulb and Junior racers all competed for top honors.
Friday - Summit Racing Equipment Warmup
Ryan Butler defeated Charlie Lockhart to be the last bottom bulber standing and pick up a $100 Summit gift card, then merged with the Box cars. Ryan Kirkpatrick was the last man doubled, but carried just one entry to the round of five, where he defeated Jacob Decker. Butler took out Derek Davish, and Marty Spivey held the bye. Spivey stopped Kirkpatrick in the semis, while Butler advanced on the bye.

In the finals, Butler tagged the bottom with a .004, and Spivey gave chase with a .005. Butler trimmed up to finish line to six thou, but needed to scrub another .0004 to put it dead on and have a chance to get inside Spivey's winning .010 total. Spivey earned the big check and the $500 gift card bonus from Summit Racing Equipment.
One Sky Media Webmasters Saturday at the AUGtoberFast 10 Grands saw a multitude of winners:
Jr. Dragster: Randy Sowders over Presley Fisher
No-Box: Trey Scharf over Steve Collier
Box: Shane Blackburn over Lisa Naive
Vickers Super Shootout: Nathan Blevins over Kyle Rumley

The Abruzzi Racing Transmissions and Converters Sunday Finale wrapped up Staging Light's AUGtoberFast presented by Hot Shot's Secret at Edgewater Sports Park with one barn-burner after another.
A strong field of Junior Dragsters provided great racing just like the big cars. Wyatt Blevins wheeled his way to the winner's circle just like his dad Nathan did in Saturday Night's Super Shootout. Wyatt stopped the JR MVP of the weekend, Presley Fisher, who made it to the finals both days!

In No-Box, Joe Barney wasn't in his familiar S-10, which had issues to start the weekend, but Barney was still familiar with the rent-a-ride S-10 provided by Scott Pike, having built it! The final three in No-Box were all High-Rollers, including Barney, Lucas Walker, and local hitter Deron Prewitt. Walker fell in the semis, and Barney squeezed by Prewitt in a double-breakout final to not only advance into the $10K Main Event at 3 cars, but also pick up the bye run to the finals with low reaction time over the last remaining Box entries of Michael Needham and Carson Griffith. Griffith's solid .020 total fell to Needham's clutch 5 pack in the semis to set up a final round match with the bottom bulber. There, Needham forced his way into the winner's circle with a .009 dead 2 against Barney's breakout.
